Not financial or betting advice
Gridiron Edge provides sports matchup information: statistics, player and team trends, injury reports, and prices published by third-party venues. We do not make bet suggestions, picks, or recommendations, and nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal, tax, or betting advice.
Any numbers we show (projections, probabilities, “edges”, rankings) are informational estimates that are frequently wrong. Sports outcomes are uncertain and you can lose money. Every decision to place a wager is yours alone, made at your own risk.
This policy explains what Gridiron Edge collects, why, and what control you have. We keep it short because we collect little: we don't sell your data, run ads, or use third-party ad trackers.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (to send sign-in codes) and the date you joined.
- Profile: an optional display name and your favorite teams.
- Invitations: your invite code, who invited you, who joined with your code, and any referral credits earned. Other members see your display name (not your email) in their list of friends who joined.
- Bets you choose to track: the picks, amounts, prices, and results you enter or track. These are visible only to you.
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, your email address and when you joined it.
- Technical data: session cookies needed to keep you signed in, a cookie remembering whether you were viewing NFL or college, a short-lived cookie holding an invite code while you sign up, and standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) kept by our hosting providers for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To sign you in, run the Service, and show you your own profile and bets.
- To run the invite program and credit referrals.
- To email you sign-in codes and, if you're on the waitlist, an invitation.
- To keep the Service secure and fix problems.
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it.
Who processes it
We use a few service providers that store or process data on our behalf, under their own security terms:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: sending sign-in and invitation emails.
Sports data and prices come from public sources and venues; we don't send them your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and its users.
How long we keep it
We keep account, profile, invitation, and bet data while your account is open. Waitlist emails are kept until you're invited or ask us to remove them. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your personal data, except where we must keep something to meet legal obligations or prevent abuse.
Your choices
- Edit your display name and favorite teams on your Profile page.
- Delete tracked bets from your Profile page.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@gridironedge.bet. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights; we honor these requests for everyone.
Age
The Service is only for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to member data is restricted to each member, and sign-in uses one-time email codes rather than passwords. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date and tell you in the app when changes matter.
